"MAMA... MAMA... IT HURTS... HELP ME... H E L P . . ."
- Collina to Aya in the Mansion 2F Archives
Collina is one of Alfred's test subjects who Aya meets early on in her quest to rescue her father.
Appearance[]
Back when she, was alive, Collina was a short girl with light-brown hair (blonde, in, the original version), and wore a white dress. The original version of the game reveals she, has grey eyes as well. After Alfred injected her with his new medicine, her skin became a pale blue, and her eyes turned completely blank.
By the time she comes back as a revived zombie, her dress is gone, she's drooling from the mouth, and tears run down from her now-empty eye sockets. (though she still has her eyes in the original version, while her eyes are completely blank in the 2.02 version)
After Aya is transported back from the Other World into the Basement 2F Secret Room, you can see what appears to be Collina's head on top of a doll on the far-right. While not exactly confirmed to be the same character, Aya notes that it "seems familiar" if she examines it.
History[]
Prior to Mad Father[]
Collina and her mother moved in to live with the Drevis family, her mother presumably hired as a servant. Eventually, Dr. Alfred had his assistant Maria fetch the young girl to test out some new medicine he made on her. Collina begged the two to let her go and take her back to her mother, to no avail. After getting injected with the medicine, Collina's life began to violently fade away as her skin turned light blue and her eyes went blank.
During the events of Mad Father[]
Following Monika Drevis coming back as a vengeful ghost and placing a curse upon the mansion, Collina, among many other test subjects and dolls, come back to life. Collina is more concerned about reuniting with her mother than getting revenge on the Drevis family.
Collina is first encountered in the Mansion 1F Archives. Once Aya obtains the Code Memo hiding inside of a book called "Data of live experimentation," Collina shows up and grabs a hold of the young girl. She begins to cry out for her mother while proclaiming how much pain she's in before showing Aya a vision of her final moments. Aya, who was not prepared or expecting to witness such an event, shoves Collina away from shock. Collina falls to the floor before disappearing, leaving behind her pendant, which Aya collects.
Should Aya return the pendant to Collina's mother, Collina and her mother embrace one another before fading away and leaving behind a Gem.
Near the end of the game, what appears to be Collina's head can be seen in the Secret Room on top of the doll on the far-right, next to the doll with a dog's head. While not exactly confirmed to be the same character, Aya notes that it "seems familiar" if she examines it.
During the events of Blood Mode[]
Collina plays the exact same role as she did in Normal Mode, with the main difference being that Collina doesn't show the much-older Aya her vision - since Aya is already aware of it - and that Aya gives Collina a hug while promising to reunite her with her mom instead of shoving her away.
