Conjecture Aya's Clone's name is purely conjecture, as no official name has been released. This name will be used until an official name is released. |
"Yes, of course. She shall come into my world as well. Hoho... I look forward to her birth. I hope you can someday show that girl your home world."
- Ogre to Alfred about the Aya clone
Aya Drevis's Clone is a minor character in Mad Father. As the name implies, she's a clone of Aya Drevis. She's only seen if the player manages to achieve the True Ending, as well as obtain all 21 Gems (in the original version) or all 20 Gems (in the remake).
Appearance[]
The Aya Clone is a beautiful young woman who has very long dark hair with square puffed bangs. Her eye color is unknown, but it can be assumed they are blue like the original. She's also completely naked.
History[]
Following shortly after Robin burns the Drevis Mansion down while Aya, Maria, and Snowball head off to start a new life together, Ogre heads to the Basement 2F Chapel, where Alfred rests. The mysterious man took an interest in the mad scientist, due to how crazy he was, and offers Alfred the chance to tag along with him so that he may "research to his heart's content." Alfred agrees; thus, Ogre revives him, with the two heading off to Ogre's world. There, the mad doctor began looking into making a clone of his daughter, whom he still missed.
At some point, Alfred finally succeeds in his research, resulting in the birth of the Aya Clone. Ogre would take notice of the young woman floating in her test tube and welcomed her as a new addition to his world. He then tells Alfred that he hopes that the mad scientist can one day show the young woman the world he originally came from before leaving. Alfred then gazes intently at the clone of his daughter, telling her that they'll always be together.
Connections to "Misao"[]

Library, a young woman from Misao who's heavily implied to be the Aya Clone.
While never outright stated, it's heavily implied that the Aya Clone ends up becoming Ms. Library, a character who hails from another game that the creator of Mad Father made, Misao. Of note:
- Library has a fondness for books, just like Aya.
- While mostly hidden behind her thick glasses, Library is shown to have blue eyes during an optional scene, just like Aya.
- Aya and Library both have a similar love for hamburgers.
- Though as of Mad Father's 2020 remake, Aya's favorite food has been changed to sirloin steak instead.
- In Misao, the music that plays when you're in the library is similar to the song "Drevis Residence" from Mad Father, which played during the game's opening credits, as well as when Aya arrives at the Other World. Notably, "Drevis Residence" is slowed down a bit (with the exception of the version heard in the game's sound test), while Misao has the song play at its regular speed.
- If the player rejects Library's offer of friendship, she ends up killing them. The original Aya was initially rather cruel herself, at least before she learned to show others compassion and empathy, so it can be assumed her clone is similar in that regard.
Version 3.00 of Misao would include more connections.
- If you attempt to name Library "Maria," she states she isn't fond of the name before backpedaling on it, saying that it's fine. This is because the original Aya was not initially fond of her housemaid Maria, though her opinion changed upon reading Maria's diary and realizing her assumptions about the maid were wrong.
- Library mentions having a father who locks himself up in the lab all day doing experiments, similar to Aya's father Alfred, who does similar things within the mansion's basement.
- Much later on, the player encounters a mad doctor with glasses, purple hair, and a chainsaw. Though unnamed, he greatly resembles how Alfred looks in the bonus cutscene of Mad Father.
- Library's diary has a word-for-word retelling of what Aya says in the intro to Mad Father.
- A picture of Monika Drevis (Aya's mother) can be found in Library's room.
Of particular note is that in Misao: Definitive Edition, if the player tries to name Library Aya, she'll reject it, saying that only her father is allowed to call her that, which seems to outright confirm her being the Aya Clone.
